Intercom to a group - fire alarm  (Netherlands)

Hi,

We want to use the swyx system to inform our workers on a possible fire.
I know that i can use the intercom to a singel phone, but in a case of a fire we want to inform all our workers.

We thought to make a group and call the group using the intercom, but it does not work. Can this be done in any way, or are there other ways to solve this issue?

Greetings

Arnaud

Re: Intercom to a group - fire alarm  (Germany)

Hi,

SwyxWare currently support only 1:1 intercom connections. Therefore you can't do an intercom call to groups.

Maybe the following is of help:

This example is able to call *one* extension at a time. In order to be able to call *many* extensions simultaneously you have to switch the SwyxIt! into power dial mode. The

contains an example of this.

Regards, Tom.

Arnaud, our work is also investing money into a new alarm system.
