I do not think the forum module itself got any RSS feeds, just the wiki, blog, news and so on....

The forum has an rss feed as well. Open a single forum (or the aggregated one) and scroll down. The rss icon is on the bottom of the sub-forum list.

The forum's RSS feeds are great, but have one drawback. They do list topics only. Answers to topics are not included.  Therefore you see new questions, but you cannot see when somebody posts an answer to an already existing topic.

It would be great to either have a feed for specific topics or to have one including all posts. Maybe the new forum module supports that.

Not sure if the upcoming forum version covers this. We'll have to wait and see

But at least the notifications are promised to be working then (I know, Martin, you don't like email notifications)

I noticed now! Great, I looked for it myself some time ago.
