Automatisch Fax versenden  (Germany)

Hallo zusammen,

 

ist es möglich ein Fax automatisiert aus einer Anwendung oder per Konsole heraus zu versenden?

Der Hintergrund ist folgender: Ein Monitoring Server überwacht verschiedene Server. Wenn ein kritischer Zustand eintritt werden bisher Emails versendet. Nun möchte ich beim Eintreffen eines solchen Zustandes zusätzlich automatisch ein Fax versenden.

Der Monitoring Server läuft auf Linux Basis.

Hallo Frank,

das ist nur möglich von einem PC wo der SwyxFax Client installiert ist. Man müsste den Monitoring Server also irgendwie dazu bekommen eine Aktion auf dem PC auszulösen (Remoteshell quasi).

Es gibt zwei Varianten was man dann auf dem PC Nutzen kann, entweder das lokale (!) Drucken auf den SwyxFax Drucker mit speziellen Steuerkommandos in den Druckdaten/Dokument, oder den Start des FaxClients aus der Befehlszeile.

Siehe bitte im SwyxIt! Faxclient Handbuch oder Onlinehilfe Kapitel "1.5 Serienbriefe per Fax versenden" und "1.11 Bedienung von SwyxFax Client über die Befehlszeile".
