Ring on one phone  (United Kingdom)

Hi All,

I'm having an issue with one of my customers. I have configured the ECR to check the number that has been called, Display the name of the country they are calling from, and route it a group.

The issue i am having is that most of time the calls will be routed to the group and the call is answered without a problem, but randomly (and there is no pattern to this) the call will route through to one extension in the group, and just ring on the extension. This happens when no one else is on a call in the group, and when other people in the group are on the call.

There are 5 toll free numbers pointing to different 5 MSN connected to an ISDN 30, that point to this ECR and as i said the ECR works out how to route the call by what extension number the MSN has been assigned to. 3 of the numbers work fine and have no problem, but 2 numbers randomly just call this one extension.

They are on 6.12, all clients are running SwyxIT 6.12. and i have just been informed while writing this message that they are now having trouble calling themselves internally, aparantly, it takes 3 -4 attempts to call each other, it comes up busy even though they are not on a call, and they have not dissabled the second call.

I am at a loss as to what the issue could be, hopefully someone can help me with the answeres to these issues.

Regards,

Matt

Re: Ring on one phone  (Germany)

Matt,

especially from your last paragraph I doubt that this has something to do with your ECR script but is instead something else.

Get in touch with your distri to get this case deeply analysed asap.

If after fixing this "even simple internal calls fail" problem the script still fails sometime we should take a look on that, but currently you have a much severe problem.

Tom.
