Conference user "gone"  (Switzerland)

Well, we don't know exactly when, and how, but our Swyx Conference User is no more there..

We have a Standby-scenario, with Swyx 6.11..

How to set up a new conference user? I didn't find anything about that..

Thanks in advance..

Please rerun the SwyxWare Configuration Wizard. When the conference user is deleted, the Wizard will create a new one.

Bye

Re: Conference user "gone"  (Switzerland)

That's the only way? I wanted to do this.. but had a bit respect (big environment, standby-scenario etc).. And the Config Wizard always blows
away the Administration Profiles in SwyxWare.. so we cannot access the "Server Settings" in SwyxWare Administration as our common Swyx
user.. (log in as Domain Admin and put the Swyx User back again in the group of Swyx Administrators).

And we want more than just 1 conference user, for more conferences at one time..

The conference user is an internal user. It's not possible to create this type of user using the administration. If you are brave enough, you can direct change the fields in database :-)

I can't follow your explanation. You use a Version 6.1x and the Wizard removes Windows Users from the "System Administrator" profile?

For one or more conference rooms you only need one conference user.

Yes, if I re-execute the config wizard, our SwyxAdministration-User (which is a domain user) is no more member of the Swyx Group "System-Administrators".. :-(

Ok, I'll try the config wizard again.... Thanks!
