CeBIT 4.-9.3.2008 - meet the humans behind Swyx and Swyx Forum  (Germany)
Modified By SuperUser Account on 2/8/2008 6:37:28 PM)

This years' CeBIT is coming closer and closer...

As every year this again is a perfect chance to meet the humans behind the names, phone-voices and emails.

The Swyx booth will be quite nice this year (from what I have seen so far) ... but I will not give any secrets here

In contrast to the last years a couple of partners will be on the booth as well with their own products and services to show.

I will be at the booth all the time, being available for all your questions or just to say hello

So, I would like to invite you to visit Swyx at this year's CeBIT, getting an idea of all the features we will come up this year, and meet not only Swyxies but also some other Swyx Forum users in person.

I am definately looking forward meeting you !

BTW: I will sure make a number of photos (of you!) and put them online afterwards (with your permission only, of course!).

Re: CeBIT 4.-9.3.2008 - meet the humans behind Swyx and Swyx Forum  (Norway)

Looking forward to this as well. This year I will attend as well. Not as part of the Swyx booth, but I guess this will be the only place I will hang out. I am scheduled to be present on the 4th and 5th and hope I will meet a lot of you regular visitors of Swyx Forum.

I will definetly have a chat with Christian (ilogixx), the new version of the Call Center solution for SwyxWare sounds very promising....

Well,

It will be the first time visit from me to the Cebit, for several years I doubted to go but never decided to go because of time, distance etc. But to be honest I changed my thoughts when Tom promised me on the partnernet that we both will force Uwe to get us coffee and cookies on the Cebit

So I hope to meet you soon folks!

Kind regards,

Oh yes, please !

For those of you who don't know what "bamsemums" is, Wikipedia will you

Oh, and by the way Morten: Niklas was extreamly happy about the last "special delivery". But there is a problem now: his little brother (3 years of age) tasted them and fell immideately in love with them as well. So, if you bring some bamsemums to Hannover we can't give them all away, there are now two little boys waiting for the next package !  *LOL*

If you show up on the Swyx booth at CeBit and say 'Swyx-Forum and bamsemums are beary good' you will get one of these amazing bamsemums chocolates. But you better show up on one of the first days. There is a limit to how many bags of these I can get before the German customs arrests them all (and there is a limit in time before Tom have eaten them all by himself).

Happy Swyxing until Cebit 2008.

So after all site problems we should have said at Cebit : '...bamsemums are beary good'

Oke, Tom it's a hard way to learn that you have te make regularly backups, but it is also a way you never forget . Let's say that I know what we are talking.

Kind regards and keep up the good things,

Don't blame Swyx Forum, it was just the webmaster's fault ;-)

About the backup, lets put it this way: until I moved to the new server I had a mechnism up and running creating 2 backups for me daily. This refused to work on the the server and I spent not enough time on this topic to setup something else.

But after all, the reason for the database crash was that I wanted to do all bloggers a real favour by enabling Windows Live Writer for Swyx Forum. I learned quite fast that allthough the setup worked smoothly on my test system it crashed the Swyx Forum database.

Don't you worry, Swyx Forum will stay online and you can be sure that *THIS* will never happen again
