How to use variables in SwyxIT?  (Germany)

Hi,

maybe someone can help me out with my problem. I generated a calling queue and know I am looking for an option to display the amount of  current calls in SwyxIt. Does someone has an idea?

Thanks,

Boris

Re: How to use variables in SwyxIT?  (Norway)

One way could be to use OpenQueue (a project on Swyx-Forum). It comes with web based Queue Visualisation. Integrating this visualisation using the Web Extemsion feature of SwyxIt! v 6.12 should give you not only the number of calls in the queue, but even a complete overview of whom are in the queue.

Re: How to use variables in SwyxIT?  (Germany)

Thanks Morten, the project is very intressting. But for the first step it requires to much (MS DB, IIS). I was looking for a simpler solution. I know it is possible to but the current amount of queue calls in a variable. My Idea was to extent the display element from Swyxit. Is that possible and if yes how?

Re: How to use variables in SwyxIT?  (Germany)

The first problem will be, that the SwyxWare build-in queue does not provide any other information than the number of current callers in the queue.

The next problem to solve would be to put this information into any of the existing skin elements. With some programing it would be possible to change the labels of speed dials or links.

But you would still stay with the number of current calls in the queue.

Tom.
