Table and Speed Dial Design  (United Kingdom)

Hi,

I am trying to implement an extension which will utilise a similar interface as your phonebook display in the Contact Centre skin but with just the user name displayed, like a list of speed dials on the regular SwyxIt! skins.  I was just wondering if you could provide me with any indication of the method you used to format the table and the way you implemented the pop-up bubble.

I'm at a bit of a dead end at the moment while I try to resolve this and I am by no means an expert when it comes to HTML or JavaScript so I've been trying to understand the flow through the contact centre skin index.html and various js files but haven't had much luck.

Many thanks,

Gwyn Thomas.

Re: Table and Speed Dial Design  (Germany)

Hi Gwyn,

at first you should know that the Contact Center receives its information from an ASP.NET application located
in the "contactcenterdata" directory (%SwyxIt! WebExtensions Installdir%\Extensions\contactercenterdata).
This information will be delivered as a preformated HTML page, so the main Contact Center application (AJAX)
only adds the tooltips (pop-up bubble) and some smaller layout improvements.

This dirty structure is the reason why we decide to built a complete new Contact Center (called Contact Center V2).
The new version will be theme-/skinable and will get its information through a web service named IpPbxDataCollector.
This web service will provide a different set of information (e.g. Personal -, Global Phonebook and much more) in
the XML or the JSON format.

Read more about the IpPbxDataCollector and ContactCenterV2 here:

SwyxIt! WebExtensions Version 1.40 Overview

To solve your current problem I have created a small patch for your ContactCenter V1.
Just download the following ZIP file, extract it to "SwyxIt! WebExtensions Installdir\Extensions\"
and overwrite all files:

http://dev.dreier-it.de/media/contactcenterdata.zip

Oh, I nearly forgot to write where to find the tooltip (pop-up bubble) functions :-)

You will find them at the end of my Javascript Core Libary "swyxlib.js" which is
located in "SwyxIt! WebExtensions Installdir\Extensions\libs".

Best regards

Sebastian
