Re: Call forward to voicemail from Linksys SPA922  (Germany)

This can be done via SwyxWare Feature Codes. Take a look on the ##20nnn# code.

Each user must have his voicemail configured correctly previously. This can also be done by the admin via SwyxWare Administration. Additionally SwyxVoicemail or SwyxProfessional licenses are required to be installed.

Tom.

Tom is right. Feature codes are the way to do it.

To make it as easy as possible for the user, configure two Speed Dial buttons (or whatever they are called on the Linksys)

One you configure with the digits: ##20*#, this will enable call forwarding unconditional (all calls) to the voicemail of the user.
The second button use the digits: ##23, this will deactivate

The reason this works is because SwyxWare enable the call forwardings for the users serverside and not in the client itself. This means that when you have enable the call forwarding, you can actually unplug the phone if you want and it will still work!!

This sounds like a problem with the DTMF signalling of the phone. The SPA922 is capable of inband and outband DTMF signalling.

Try to configure it to use outband signalling by setting the DTMF Tx Method configuration to INFO (refer to Linksys SPA9x2 Phone Administration Guide page 105).

Regards, Tom.
