Routing on DND  (United Kingdom)

Hi Guys,

I have a customer that has the following setup on Swyx Compact 6.02 MP2

Call comes in to a ‘Routing Only’ user, and within the ECR the call goes to a ‘Connect To’ block for EXT 201, If the user is busy, times out or unavailable the call goes to another ‘Connect To’ block for EXT 202. If this user is busy, times out or unavailable the call goes to a ‘Voicemail’ block for the company.

What is happening at the moment is they are pressing DND but the call is still waiting for the time out within the ECR before moving onto the next step.

What they would like to do is instead of logging the user off to force the call on, EXT 201 would like to press DND then the ECR would move on to EXT 202.

I cannot do this with their forwarding rules as they also have individual DDI numbers, and individual voicemails

Is there a bit of scripting that I could put before the ‘Connect To’ block for EXT 201 to check the status of EXT 201? If so would it be possible for you to post the coding for me.

Many thanks in advance

Regards,

Matt

Anyway, I wonder why you do not reach the busy exit immideately.
