How to access the Administration of SwyxPhone
From time to time I am in need of enter the Administration of SwyxPhone even if it is not connected to a network with a swyxserver because I think it is easier to find the assigned IP address this way (yes, I am lazy).
Usually you will enter Administration by unplug the network cord from the phone, but that is kind of impossible if you have the phone powered by the LAN.
You can also reach the Administration by pressing 1 - 0 - 3 at the same time. You might need to try two or three times, because the three keys have to be pressed at exactly the same moment.
If the phone is straight from factory, you will not get the 'Gatekeeper not found'. Then you can enter Administration by just pressing the OK key.
How to factory reset a SwyxPhone
From the phone itself:
- Disconnect the powercable (or the LAN cable if PoE)
- Connect the power (or LAN)
- Lift the handset
- Press the 2 - 8 - 9 at the same time for one minute
- Use reset code 124816 and press the # key
- Put the handset back on the phone
- SwyxPhone will restart
Using the WEB-admin
- Point your browser to https://ip-of-phone
- Go to the Administrator section and log on with the password 123456
- Go to Administrator Actions -> Restore Factory Settings -> password 124816 -> Submit
