Dear Swyx Users

Did you know that one can integrated Mac users to your Swxy Server?

And not only that, these Mac users can now even receive status information off the other Swyx members ( Speaking, Available, Logged Off).

Bria 3 is a CounterPath soft-phone based for Windows and Mac and comes with a flexible user interface. Once the software is installed you’ll have to configure the Swyx SIP User account and Web phonebook:

1. Go to Bria menu Preferences.. and click on Account. Here you enter Swyx SIP user credentials

2. Afterwards Go to Advanced
At Web Page Tabs one can enter the Swyx Web-Extension Global Phonebook URL

BriaAccountsettings

BriaWebsettings

BriaMACphonebook

Hereafter, a new Tab is showing “phone book”, where one can see the Status ( Speaking, Available, Logged Off) of the other Swyx Users.

You can download the Bria for Mac version from here.

Note: It is also possible to run the SwyxIt! Soft-phone client on your Mac. Although, it can only be installed on a Parallels Desktop for Mac.

Happy Swyxing and have a good weekend :- )
