Swyx launched its Beta Version of the new Collaboration package, the final release of the SwyxIt! Collaboration Pack is planned for beginning of June 2010.

Below I like to highlight two new features “Swyxit! Meeting” and “SwyxIt! Video”:

SwyxIt! Meeting is an Peer to Peer Collaboration tool which allows you to share your desktop with an internal SwyxIt! partner by a single click. SwyxIt! Meeting is developed by Swyx to substitute Netmeeting under Windows Vista and Windows 7. With the condensed feature set and the Peer to Peer approach it is the ideal free of charge tool to start an instant collaboration session during a call just by using the desktop sharing button at your SwyxIt!.

SwyxIt! Video is a Peer to Peer desktop video solution to make video calls between internal users. Utilizing your standard USB WebCam, one is able to contact an internal SwyxIt! partner via video call.
