Dear Swyx Users

SwyxWare support Intercom and allows any user to page a co-worker with a single click. But did you know that one can also integrate old-fashion analogue ceiling speakers ?

The “Zone Controller” from Cyberdata makes it easy to remotely utilize paging transmitters for both on-site and wide area paging. Allowing your staff to notify multiple areas of a certain event with a single call.

Below an example of the “Zone Controller” used in a paging network environment.

I have compiled a quick-start on how to configure SwyxWare with a “Zone Controller” from Cyberdata. You can download the PDF file from here.

Documented are three different implementation scenarios: 1. Within the local LAN, 2. SIP Provider registration and 3. Unregistered SIP:URI configuration. More information on the “Zone Controller” product can be found here.

Cheers
Mirjam
