Wouldn’t it be great if one could get presence information of co-workers from abroad ?
Let’s start with some good news in the New Year . . . . , with SwyxWare 7.0 it is now possible to enable status signalling among multiple SwyxServers :- )

In SwyxWare Administration one can synch phonebooks of several SwyxServer and enable status information of colleges and departments form different Swyx Servers.
In the print screen below you can see that in tab “Sydney Office”, we get phone status information if the person is “logged-on”, “logged-off” or “speaking”.

These Intersite-Connections can be setup between „Remote-SwyxServer in the same organisation“ . . . . .

. . . . . or even among  „Remote-SwyxServer in different organisations“.

One can synch the global phonebooks for all users on all Servers within an Intersite configuration,  so Users of Site A can select from the search field any co-workers from location B.
