v6.20 During lunch last week a colleague mentioned that there are two small features concerning SwyxIt! skin saving which will not be documented and which are not visible in the user interface. Reason for hiding these functions is that the GUI was fixed already for the release and, most important, no additional QA time was available to test it.

When you choose File – Skin – Save you get a dialog where you can enter the name of the skin to save. (Click picture to enlarge)With SwyxIt! v6.20 you can enter a full local file path like c:\skins\myskin.cab and SwyxIt saves the skin cabinet file to that location instead of uploading it into your user scope to the SwyxWare database.
The second option is to use a filename without a path as usual, but hold Ctrl and Shift while clicking the OK button. With that key combination and if you have SwyxWare administrative rights, the skin is saved into the global scope and not in you user scope.

This is unsupported in v6.20 for the reasons I mentioned above. It will be completed with a proper GUI in the SwyxIt! version after v6.20.
