The last moths I have been using a free WEB meeting service called DimDim. This is a great tool with a price/performance ratio hard to beat.

DimDim comes in two flavors. The hosted solution and an Open Source Community Edition. But be aware, these versions are not completely the same. The hosted solution has a lot more features, and you can host meetings with up to 20 attendees completely free of charge. The Open Source Community Edition has no limit, but you will need to set up your own server to use it. On the positive side, they provide a VmWare Virtual Appliance for it, so setting the service up yourself should be quite simple.
I have used the Hosted version and think it works very well.
You can share your desktop, show slides, collaborate, chat, talk and broadcast via webcam with absolutely no download required for attendees. The only downside of the desktop sharing, is that it does exactly that, displays your screen to the attendees. Some times I would have preferred to be able to control the application I wanted to show. But if you close your mail client and other programs before you host a meeting it is no problem. Then you will not share any secrets without meaning to do that.
Dimdim’s built-in VoIP capability provides free calling to and from any computer with a microphone and an Internet connection. Even our powerful video broadcasting and desktop sharing features scale elegantly with your bandwidth, all automatically.
