The last week I have been up to something completely non-technical. The summer is around the corner and the house needs a terrace.

Those who have followed my blog here on Swyx-Forum can not have missed the fact that I have moved into a house a couple of months ago. The time has come to prepare for the outdoor season.

The last two weeks in Oslo have been very nice. The sun shined all the time. So I decided to use this weekend to put up the terrace. Mother nature is not without humor, so almost in the same moment as the first plank was to be put on the frame I prepared during the week, it started to rain.

But this did not stop us, we really did want this terrace to be ready for the next sunny days. So then we ran out of materials.

I will continue with the terrace during next week, when I can buy materials again. So you might not see much of me in the forum next week either.

We found a really nice detail for the garden in the shop today. If you take a close look at the left picture (or click on it to enlarge it), you will see small garden lights placed in the bushes. These are really nice, during the day they are charged by the sunlight and will then work for several hours when it gets dark. So no electrical wirering is necessary.
