Since I am working with Hosted SwyxWare I subscribe to a newsletter from Parallells, the developer behind the server virtualization product Virtuozzo. This morning I had a fresh newsletter in my inbox.

What caught my attention had actually nothing to do with Parallells or Virtuozzo, but a free copy of an eBook about virtualization. Actually not the book in itself either, but the publisher behind it.

The eBook is published by Realtime Publishers. For several years, now, Realtime has produced dozens and dozens of books that just happen to be delivered in electronic format—at no cost to the reader. They have made this publishing model work through the generous support and cooperation of sponsors, who agree to bear each book’s production expenses.
