I am not going to discuss the big questions now,  but life is a coincidence. Read this and think about it.

I am not going to discuss the big questions now,  but life is a coincidence. Read this and think about it.

After spending almost a week with Swyx during CeBIT, my first day back in the Oslo office was monday this week. It turned out to be one of these mondays.... My office laptop (yes, I know... The point of having a laptop in the first place is to bring it around, so do not ask why I have a laptop as a permanent computer in the office. OK, if you have to know... It is standard equipment, so it is harder to get a workstation than a laptop from our purchasing department). OK, back to the topic, my office laptop did not start. It gave me just a dumb look and said, 'Fan.' Since I was pretty sure it did not try to tell me that it was a fan of anything, I understood that the cooling fan of the CPU did not work anymore.

So I had to call IBM service center. Since we have a onsite warranty, they would send a repair man and I was asked to write down a reference number.

After I had written down the number I was a little suprised. The reference was: 01SXYWR. This is a true story. It is friday, but I have not made this up, that I do in the weekends.

If we had not travelled to Germany and been on the Swyx booth for the entire week my laptop would probably not had broken down at that time, and I would never had received that reference from IBM.

Life *is* a coincidence.

A nice weekend to all you Swyxies, and happy Swyxing....
