Most of the previous ticker news where related to 3rd party tools and applications. I hope you enjoyed the amount of different applications and their quality as much as I did. What we didn't told you about in detail are the features to come provided directly by Swyx. The following is a list of this years feature highlights.

SwyxWare v6.12 (Q2 2008)

• Mobility
  - SwyxIt! Mobile for Blackberry RIM
  - SwyxIt! Mobile for Symbian and Windows Mobile improvements (exception list, PIN protection)
  - Additional languages
• Unified Communications
  - Instant Messaging within one Swyx Server
  - Internet Explorer SwyxIt! Skin Element
  - SwyxIt! Dialer for SwyxPhone S315
• Enhanced Hardware Support
  - Support for SX2-express SinglePRI and DualPRI boards for the PCI Express bus (SX2-express QuadBRI is already supported by SwyxWare v6.11)

SwyxWare v7.00 (Q4 2008)

• Unified Communications
  - Status signalling (Logon, Logoff, Speaking) between Swyx Servers
  - Rich Presence via XMPP within a single Swyx Server
• Usability Enhancements
  - Integration of SwyxWare users into Windows User Administration (AD)
• Additional Enhancements
  - Windows Server 2008 Support
