This years CeBIT trade show closes the doors today at 18:00 (MET). The Messe AG, the company driving the show, is quite happy with the number of visitors as also with the new concept (one day less, the weekend at the end of the show and not in between, new arranged buisness areas, more conferences, a.s.o).

Swyx has announcend the availability of SwyxIt! v6.12 for Q2 coming with two major new features. Morten has already given some details on them including a screenshot. Now Swyx Forum also provides a screencast demoing these features and the possibilities they are opening.

The German Swyx Distributor VoipConnection has also developed an advanced status signalling tool. Beside a webbased gui for the user's desktop it also comes in a version optimized for mobile devices.

After the first day is nearly over (well, at least the offical part, the happy hour with the really tasty Hoevels beer will start soon...) I finally found some time to upload some first impressions of this years Swyx CeBIT booth.

The Swyx booth at CeBIT should be ready now. A few last minute details are certainly about to be solved in this very moment. We are told that the booth will be really nice this year and there will be a lot to see. A few third party developers are on the spot to show us all the latest collection of SwyxWare add-ons.

Swyx Forum will do its best to report back to you about all the juicy details from this year show.

Watch out for a video presentation of the booth shortly after the doors open in Hannover tomorrow.

In 2005 the big slogan was Swyx is the king in LAN telephony. As you have already seen on the pictures from 2006 the main color of Swyx was red for a long time.
